How It Works

THE CLAIMS PROCESS

1. To see if you have a valid claim, visit our 60 Second Test page and fill in our online claim form. This way we can quickly assess if your claim meets the minimum necessary criteria. Alternatively, call us on 020 7544 1093 and speak directly to one of our Debt Solutions Specialists. All calls are treated as confidential.

2. Once we have confirmed the type of claim you have, we will forward you the relevant claims pack. One of our Claims Specialists will be happy to assist you in completing the pack, over the phone.

3. If you have a copy of the original credit agreement you signed when you took out the loan, credit card or mortgage, please include that when you return the completed Claims Pack.

4. Upon receipt of your completed Claims Pack, we will then request a true copy of your original Credit Agreement from your Lender, plus a copy of your entire file, where appropriate. They can lawfully take up to 40 days to supply this document.

5. Once received, our Claims Specialists will carry out an full evaluation of your file. This is to ensure there is a valid claim to pursue and they are confident that the most desired outcome is assured. If indeed your claim is valid, our Solicitors will then prepare your claim and present it to your Lender.

6. We anticipate a stand alone mis-sold Payment Protection Insurance Claim for compensation to be resolved within 3-4 months. This is providing your lender does not dispute the claim and we have to submit it to the Financial Ombudsmen Service. If this is the case, this will inevitably delay the process, however, we still anticipate a successful resolution of your claim.

7. Challenging a potentially unfair credit agreement will take much longer, as our Solicitors will no doubt have to enter into lengthy negotiations with your lender. As this is a legal process, the outcome cannot be determined.

8. Should you have already been issued with a court summons, our Solicitors will immediately intervene to DEFEND YOU on a NO WIN NO FEE basis.
